A question about : Ebay CS told me to find alternative to Royal Mail for large letter delivery.

In short, my A4 large letter

Best answers:

  • CS are correct that eBay's view is it is your choice to use Royal Mail and if they cause you too many problems you should change to another provider, despite several members of staff on the eBay community forums being asked to provide the details of a service that delivers 100% (forget cost, practicability, etc), this has never been responded to.
Basically it's nonsense, eBay won't remove the defect and you'd have a more intelligent conversation discussing the matter with a 3 year old, you just to have move on and forget it.
  • It is a stupid system, but then again, your item arrived late so that really is the point of the defect system. If that's the only late arriving item then it probably won't make any difference. If there are several more in a short space then there is a pattern, which is precisely what the defect system is for.
  • Just change you settings to two days dispatch but dispatch the same day. It's called "managing customers expectations" and eBay wont do it for you.
  • I am a top rated seller, but I don't bother with a piddly 15% off final value fees or whatever it is.
