A question about : Dyson DC58 USA version
Hi guys
I'm going to the USA in a weeks time for work and I have a friend that can get me a Dyson DC58 for $144 this is a massive saving on what it is in the UK.
My question is I know the voltage is different in the USA much lower but products like IPads, laptop etc are not affected by this as they have an external transformer I think. So does anyone know if the Dyson will be the same or will I be getting something that won't work here?
Thanks for the advise.

- You need to check the rating of the mains adapter, otherwise buy a UK one.
https://www.dyson.co.uk/spares/c/char...id=DC58-Animal - This is what I thought. But Dyson said the plug is not the "power source" they seem to say that the unit is built for each country. Maybe they just mean the plug?
- I have a handheld Dyson, can't remember which model, but i'm not impressed. There are better, cheaper ones about.
I do have a normal upright Dyson too which is brilliant. - I bought a Gtech multi. Handy and cordless
