A question about : Condensation in shed

I thought my shed's rood was leaking but have found out it is condensation. I have several damp places on inside the wooden roof. Pl any advice what to do, I have left the window slightly open. Am concerned the wooden part is going to be rotten, it has already got black damp patches .Thanks

Best answers:

  • Treat the mould and improve the ventilation.
  • The wooden potting shed on my allotment I installed air vents to prevent this.

  • Condensation needs a source of water, if your shed is leaking then it'll always be difficult to shift the moisture. Do double check your roof, it's the most likely source and damp wood can take a lot of time to dry out.
