SO, going of previous years :

The last 3 years it's been the 4th Wed after Christmas.

Meaning 16th January.................... hopefully.

Am I mad to be already excited?????

• Would be good if it was sooner, got a list of things I would like to buy for gifts throughout the year, trying to resist buying them at 50%
• Didn't manage to get a THING last time round
  Was the stuff of nightmares!!! People blocking aisles with pushchairs/baskets whilst they sweeped the shelves. Seriously, it was crazy!!!!!
  Not sure I have recovered enough to go to the next one

• definately excited, the stuff i got last year was what i gave out as xmas presents and a few for birthday, quite a bargain, will be checking this thread constantly
• Ours wasn't that great last year. The good gift sets were either nabbed by the staff (which is fine) or not put on sale. I went into Boots just before closing time the previous day. There were lots of S&G, Gok and large gift sets left on the shelf. I was second in the queue the next day (sad, I know) and when I got inside there was no sign of the large gift sets and there was only a fraction of the S&G/Gok stuff there had been the evening before.
• Excited! But have already bought some stuff at 50%! Wondering whether I should return it and wait it out...

• Well my 3 stores are wiped clear already, as is the website so I won't be holding my breath

• I feel so sad that I did a search for this threadIn my Boots they have stacks of stuff at 50% and even on Boxing day their were'nt as many people as normal so hoping thats a good sign for the 75% sale. Last year I remember driving round the night before to check the signs had changed

  Even if there's no notification, I'm going to turn up on the 16th at my local Boots, just in case!
• I firmly believe the online sale was a big fat lie. they had stuff in sock on the 24th and then the site was 'shut down' and then came back on with a sale of the usual CARP.
  i firmly believe they took all the good stuff off and shipped it to stores. store were restocking far too much after boxing day.
