I have done a couple of searches but not able to get an complete answer, I have started up as a sole trader designing websites ontop of my existing Ј32k job, mainly to clear evil credit card debts!!

1. When do I need to register this second income with Inland Revenue? now or at April 2010?

2. Are there any definitive lists on what I can claim against my outgoings as it's a home office.

Would like some advice from people who have sold their gold - did you have to pay refining charges? I have just received a cheque, and there is an 8% deduction from the total amount. I thought the price they advertised was the price you paid.

I called up and they told me other places charge up to 50% for refining. Is this true??

I dont know if this is allowed but if it isnt it should be hehe.

I used to work as a graphic design designing various things from business stationary to posters/leaflets etc etc.

I know work in GIS (Mapping stuff for all those people who dont know)

Does anyone actually get anything out of these? I have been a member for a while now, but every survey I take you're not suitable for this survey, then would you like to try another one, or exit. Try another one, then it says I've done it already. I don't think they've paid out for one survey so far... Plus it's only after I've answered about 10 questions that it says I'm not elligible... grrr
