A question about : Barclay's Partner Finance

Hi Guys,

First post for me title=Smile,

So basically I went into the apple store and took them up on their finance offer, (I work in a phone store so I know the full application process), got through to the decision page and it came up as referred. From then I had to answer a few Security questions from the Barclays woman, and she said apple would be given a decision in the next 5 minutes.
Got back expecting to pick up my new laptop and they said i'd been declined which is strange.
I logged into Experian to find my score sitting at a handy 967.

Any ideas what could have caused this, and would that decline have further reduced my chances of getting finance elsewhere?

Thanks!

  • Firstly, your score means nothing at all. Ignore it and don't pay for it.
What's in your credit files? What's your credit history and repayment history? Any outstanding loans, defaults, CCJ's?
