Calling all forces personnel

We'd like to add another Board Guide on here that's in the forces. If you think you'd have the time to help out that would be great. Please reply below if you'd like to help out on here.

A little bit about what Board Guiding's about

Board Guiding is about making sure the board's running smoothly, guiding people to Martin's articles or to previous threads or posts on this or other boards if you know where there's info that would help answer their question. Plus it would involve some spam-busting.

Board Guides aren't moderators (we don't have moderators on this site - that suggests we monitor the forums, which we don't) so board guides don't get involved in the abuse side of things so if you see an offensive, racist post etc you'd just report it to the abuse team as normal.

How long would it take?

We generally ask that board guides are on the forum and their boards at least every couple of days, more than that is even better if you're around but as it's a volunteer role and you're a site user with a few extra powers then we don't ask for more than that - it's up to you.

  Although now medically 'retired' from HM Forces now, I would be willing to help out.
