Anyone had trouble with new Ukash prepaid currency card?

A question about : Anyone had trouble with new Ukash prepaid currency card?

Both my husband and I applied for and loaded ukash euro cards on sat 21st, waited 7 working days - still not arrived - have called customer services and they cannot find our transactions even though I have given them all reference numbers, I am really worried.
Anyone else had experience of these new currency cards?

  They have since got back to me and have found our transactions and tell us the cards will be here by the end of the week. They were only able to do this after I e-mailed the confirmations back to them even though I gave all correct references over the phone.
  Though no explanation of why ours are taking so long given they quote 5-7 working days to arrive.
  Just as well we ordered them in good time.
• Sorry to hijack post, but as you have a Ukash card and are using it maybe you could help us.
  We have a Ukash prepaid travel money card, but are unable to access it.
  When I received the card I followed the instructions on the letter that arrived with the card i.e. text the pin then the last eight digits of the card to 0786 002 4391.
  I then went to a UK cash machine just to make sure I was able to access it. The ATM rejected the PIN, tried again but still no good, didn't want to risk a third time just in case the machine ate the card.
  I have contacted Ukash via email, tried phoning but was in a queue for ages and gave up as there was no indication of position in queue. The reply via email was very confusing, stating I should have received a reply from my text, which I never did.
  They said I would be able to receive another pin, but I'd have to pay 0.69 euro. Bit disgruntled at having to pay for something when I'm not sure if the first attempt has worked.
  Anyhow, Did you follow the instructions on the letter to activate your card, if not can you tell me how you did activate it.
