A question about : Anyon use Napster

Was thinking today of using an alternative to Amazon for downloading mp3s. For the price of 11 mp3's priced at say 89p I can download an umlimited number of songs or for the price of Ј10 I could download say 50 songs a month and save month. Only thing im worried about is if I were to cancel would I still be able to play what Ive downloaded in full.

Just checked napster and I presume if I canccelled Id lose the option to play downloaded songs in full based on this from Napster If you cancel your Napster trial or membership, you can still access Napster and play 30 second clips of any track. Your library and playlists will still be there for you and you'll be able to play them in full-length if you decide to join Napster again at a later date.

  • I would think as it's a streaming service you won't be able to continue to listen to your downloaded music if you were to cancel.
But if you do cancel it will save everything in your account so if you were to re-activate at a later date you'd still have your saved music and playlists in your account.
When it says you can download music it means it allows you to listen to the music without an internet connection. It will be encoded in some way to stop you saving it. So once you cancel your account you can no longer listen to it.
Hope this helps. I still think streaming is a great way to listen to music as long as you're okay with the fact you never actually own the music.
