We've heard Tesco Express stores are selling 500g boxes of Thorntons chocs for 1p - can you find/have you found 'em?

This thread is specifically for 1p Thorntons at Tesco stores, but do check our the 1p and 2p supermarket bargains thread for more 1p finds.

1p Thorntons successes in the following locations have been reported:

Manchester, Didsbury, Newtownabbey, Essex, Hayling Island and Shepton Mallet. However, many have said when staff cottoned on, the boxes were removed from the shelves.

We mentioned this offer a while back, but it appears 1p stock is still available in some stores, so it's worth a check if you're passing a Tesco Express.

If you do find a 1p box, let others know how you get on by pressing 'reply'. Do include barcodes and stores you have visited if you can, as that helps those without price-scan machines track bargains down.

• Found in Express & Extra stores on Sunday.
• unfortunately think you'll find there have been several reports over the last couple of days that these particular chocs(499g) are now scanning at full price.

• This particular box of chocolates was selling at Ј6 - "half price" - in Tesco (Extra) earlier this year, and a week ago were selling at Ј6.50, again "half price".

• I saw this offer on a Facebook student forum & tried my luck out in local tesco Leytonstone & got a luck on remaining 5 boxes on merely 5p the best 5p spent and a saving on marked price of Ј13 the glitch is the barcode ending 219780 only this batch appears as 1p. I have the image of receipt & chocolates in my phone but couldn't find the option here to upload them.
• Great news. I mamaged to bag 6 in 2 different express stores in Harrow. Then the staff took them off the shelves. There were surprised looks from other customers when I paid 3p for chocs worth up to Ј40!!

• Just went in to my local Tesco Express on Foregate Street in Worcester. They only had some Ј6 odd Classics (274gms). No 499gms for 1p..!
  But a massive 270gm cadbury choco bar for Ј2 ! Just got me that instead!

• Home Bargains are selling the 499g boxes for Ј5, also it you like thortons and wanting some for yourself then HB also sell a 350g bag of them unbranded as misshaped luxury chocolates for Ј1
