  • Hi
I am consodering joinning it and was convinced but a lot of adverse publicity across the world, just enter i cellnet scam to access pages of links. I would say that so long as you restrict waht you spend they will pay out money at present but no long term potential as eventually they will have to cut and run when the revenues are not meeting the costs. The people also have links to past scams according to the web. But then again Branson went bust before he made any money!

  • :-[ THis is biggest scam of the century. Why ?
It is bogus company with fantastic multi-level marketing
tactics...., the company exists in US, but it hosts its
web-site and calling platform from Australia.
Maybe when they ran out of money, guess who will
    be having the last laugh...!
  • Hi there,
We have been earning from and using the 1cellnet service since March. We have found that we always get paid as promised and also that despite initial teething problems the international telephone calls are now of a fine quality.
There will be announcements shortly in the press about 1cellnet and their new partner. This will answer and deal with all the paranoid 'scam screamers' once and for all.
Eventually everyone will join 1cellnet...except those that do not want to save money on international calls.
  • Oh ya and if you would like to join us then please go to www.1cellnet.com/bangkok . We provide full customer service back up and team support and training material.
  • 1CellNet have teamed with a company called Comindico to host all their calls worldwide. Comindico are partnered with big companies such as Sun Microsystems. 1CellNet are also listed as a public company, floating shares so I would think that speaks for it'self. A company that never pays out more than 40% of it's profits is sure to last quite some time I'd imagine if 60% of their profits are true profits how would it go down. Bearing in mind that 1CellNet are responsible to shareholders would cement this company for years to come. The title of 'pyramid' scheme is quite wrong, a pyramid is illegal anyway. In a pyramid such as ones designed by other MLMs a person can never make more money than the person above them, with 1CellNet's bianry system people below a person can make more money, my downlines are making more money than I am infact. Also consider this, if you work in a job (lets say ... a bank) can YOU make more money than your boss ? Guess what ? that's a pyramid scheme.
  • Furthermore to what Allistair has said , for something not to be a pyramid scheme, it has to satisfy 2 criteria,
    1) There has to be a real consumable product - ie cheap phone calls - so yes there is a real product here.
    2) It must satisfy the question "would you buy or use the product if there was no money to be made - ie would you walk into a shop and purchase this product" - answer is YES, I would use cheap mobile calls if there was no money to be made - the original reason why I joined. It just so happens I am making a bit of money on the side as well. Businesses like Skybiz were deemed pyramid selling because the product could be obtained for free elsewhere , no real consumable product, and you certainly wouldnt really be buying a website if there was no money to be made.
As was said - the company will be floating shares soon - not many pyramid scams do that now do they .
P.S. if anyone is considering joining can do so at my site www.1cellnet.com/karlsav
I will be travelling overseas soon to push 1cellnet. I won't make outragous promises that you will be part of a massive powerleg like some people do , I will however promise that you will be joining a team of experienced networkers and will recieve 100% support and guideance along the way. Email me if interested.
I have a saying "Theres no success without Risk" . How do you think companies like Usana and Herbalife started? and look where they are today.
  • Is this the Guest Thread?
If you have an interest in the company could you declare it?
I don't like the sound of it without even looking at the websites.
Edit - To include these two links which have already discussed this. It also might save you time as you may not want to bother reading the next post. Which is long. Very long.

  • Hi Guys,
I used to be a skeptical person because the original presenters, who are quite successful, are not business people with the clarity of entrepreneurs, but are normal people who have been lucky with the oppurtunity this company can provide, and better still people actually DO save money to calls VIA their mobile. Now it was never really a common trait for people to call OVERSEAS via there mobile phone, ( TO BLOODY EXPENSIVE TO CALL LOCALLY LET ALONE OVERSEAS ) but with this system, which has multiple access methods for a prepaid system, again which happens to be ACCESSIBLE all over the world via WEBSITE access, GPRS(Mobile phone internet), SMS, and PC - Phone internet access, MOBILE to MOBILE call control access, and normal PHONE to PHONE call access, you have a platform to make calls from almost ANYWHERE and save. EVEN BETTER, they have developed a network marketing method, that allows people to earn as they use, and as everyone introduces who uses, all would have a potential to earn and support each other with the introductions and use of the product. Can you go to your telco and ask them to pay you for people that you introduce? They will want you to be a business partner, or reseller with realistic BUSINESS commitments and retail plans prior to approval to COOPERATE with you. Why can't they reward you for your introductions, and for your introductions-introductions, and reward you again for your introductions-introductions-introductions etc. Just think about it. To be honest with you, alot of the people who have joined this company have NO IDEA of the technology behind the product, and quite often in their presentations appear to be just PUSHING the MARKETING, and the concept of network marketing A PRODUCT which happens to save money. They appear to be elusive and SHONKY because they cannot explain their product that they have purchased. I can understand why people would think they are scam artists because THEY ARE NOT straight to the point. MOST have NO IDEA about the company or FULL product understanding to represent or push the VALUE of the product properly. If someone came to ALMOST ANYONE with the idea to sign up people, and loosely say that you can also save money, but emphasise the RECRUITMENT of people to ANY system, they are quite often perceived as being involved with PYRAMID schemes or "IT's a SCAM" system etc. All quite negative. I can understand their enthusiasm, but their METHODOLOGY is usually misdirected. Almost ALL the people I have seen presenting 1Cellnet sound like scam artists or CLUELESS and elusive to LEGITIMATE questions asked by potentially interested parties. If these people manage to acquire customers, most are happy to participate and not FULLY understand the product or company, and these new RECRUITS as such, COPY the shonky-elusive presentation manner of the person who introduced them to the network marketing business and loose emphasis on product characteristics. I have carried out EXTENSIVE due diligence with ALOT of aspects about the company, and product usage, before eventually joining the company. I have voiced my opinions to different forums explaining my dissatisfaction with support and presentation matters, being kicked out of the forums by people who are even less knowledgeable about the product or company and BUSINESS model. Many of them have been lucky and continue to be lucky, which cannot distract me to the fact that there IS OPPURTUNITY in this company, which is the reason I have joined, as well as SAVING me money as well on calls made OVERSEAS from any MOBILE phone, as well as my own mobile phone. The product is very powerful.
The company has made a number of great strives to improve calling capacity, as well as partnering with BIGGER companies to introduce better support and newer products, to its members/customers. My background is with business and Internet technology, since I have setup my own Internet Service Provider in Sydney Australia, and ran the business, dealing with carriers for internet connections and phone line support and digital line services for 56K access to my network. Actually we even started about 2 years before the big boys started(for example Telstra and Optus) their own internet divisions, so we didn't copy the big boys. They just had more money, like any good business needs. I was also involved in the setup of the Voice over IP(VOIP) technology for PREPAID PHONE CARD services for overseas calls outside of AUstralia, before it became as popular as it is today. I am MORE THAN familiar with ALOT of aspects of communications technology dealing with the internet and carrier connectivity, and use this experience to evaluate the product as well as business model. Taking a REAL business approach 1st then scrutinising the marketing and presentation methods, analysing these aspects together to form my own opinions led me to decide why I wanted to be involved in this business. I knew I could save money, but didn't like how people answered questions about the company. Since getting involved I have begun to PROVIDE support to people who have even JOINED BEFORE me, who were quite clueless of the FULL CAPACITY of the product, and explain in general and TECHNICAL detail on how I thought the product works and can be used. I am still waiting for a response from the company through a close representative called Andries, regarding having someone more TECHNICAL to be introduced closer to the company. What I can say is that since joining, I think I am more knowledgeable about the company and the product that the majority of the people who have joined several months before me. Even THEY are asking me to demonstrate the product and answer questions that their potential customers have to say. When people join with me, I can say that they won't get the shonky explanations that I was given, and that I have plans to support my own introductions with product demonstrations and enquiries, because I KNOW alot about it. I am quite surprised to even hear people that have joined earlier, who are quite successful, earning a great living, and don't know how to explain the product, or company and business model in ANY detail from low introduction to HIGH advance descriptions. This can give a bad image to the company, and also to the person presenting their OWN idea of the company and the product, because they usually never appear to be knowledgeable and up front with ALOT of information. They do not even carry out the DUE DILIGENCE required with ANY business to understand what they are getting themselves into. I have done my own background checks which has satisfied MY OWN sense of fulfilment, and would not discourage anyone else to do the same. I have tested my own ideas, and presented the product and network marketing structure to people I know, and they have brought along people who they thought would BENEFIT from the product as well. I do not know the secondary introductions, but I noticed that if YOU DO KNOW what you are talking about, because you've done your homework, people will have the CONFIDENCE in your OWN belief of the BENEFITS the product can give(which are savings), with additional benefits through the introduction of others who can benefit as well, which can be ongoing, because why limit the people who can benefit from the product, there is nothing to hide, it works, it is being developed, in it's early stages it works, and the company behind the product is partnering with larger parties who are interested in supporting the company, and may also introduce newer products which I believe would be beneficial as well. Take a look at Microsoft and how they either partner or PURCHASE good companies with fantastic ideas. Big companies do work together with innovative companies because I believe they see MORE potential than the average person. They have MORE resources than the people in this forum to do their own due diligence, enough to evaluate the pros and cons on doing business or buying into a small company that has fantastic potential to take their investment to the next level. This big business mentality is the reason why THEY ARE big, and you just need to read books written by Robert Kiyosaki "Rich Dad Poor Dad" which explains alot about the different income streams and how the great majority of people think and what they do, and what could make them different to the mentality of those that have SUCCEEDED to improve their wealth(sometimes considered to be rich), and those that don't change the way they think and what they need to do, in order to improve their financial situation, supporting or improving their lifestyle, and possibly improving the community around them, making this a better place to coincide harmoniously.
What I have learned is that my ideas of the company 1cellnet have changed, and that my APPROACH to the use of the companies product range, is VERY different and does not follow the parttern, that most of the people that I have seen use, of whom have joined several monthe or weeks before me. I sometimes think that they are currently inadequate in knowledge, but their enthusiasm and passion is strong, but because of the lack of knowlege, these currently successful people can be misinterpreted as being scam artist. After meeting many of these people, I can see how they are passionate about introducing this product to many more people, in order to improve their business prospects. I have been in discussions with many of these lucky people, and because of continuous communications amongst all of us, we have improved our approach to the business and the products that the company is supporting. This is a newly expanding company, and they are very much open to new ideas and approaches to improving the foundation and longevity of their business. They have setup SMS access points in MANY countries, with new ones being introduced on average every 3 months, partnering with large organisations backed by insurance and utility companies, planned public listing of the company 1cellnet on the OTBC USA exchange, through companies that is acquiring interest into the company, and if you look at the recent partner Comidico, with similar products at a LARGER SCALE, those that get involved will have newer products to look forward to. These are my own personal evaluations, and I would be happy to get feedback from many others, regarding their opinions on the direction of the company, product range, and business model. Any exchange of information can only improve to educate me on what I may have overlooked, and improve my decision making process on dealing with other companies and businesses I also plan to pursue. I do have my own contacts in MANY industries that are continuously advising me on possible directions, and the exchange of ideas can help to improve EVERYONE on all levels. My experience and knowledge with the Internet and carrier connectivity, allows me to understand the product range of 1Cellnet and how it can benefit me and hopefully people with similar interest to me, that could benefit as well.
Knowledge is power, and even going through school, we've been entrusted with the ability to research, like doing homework, and presenting it through assignments, but most people think what they have learned is irrelevant. Think about it, and you have the tools given to you to evaluate things that come your way.
Those that wish to discuss what makes me interested in 1cellnet, apart from what I have just said on this forum, can do so by replying to this posting or emailing me on rsaladar@ign.com.au. I have my own ideas about the company and hope to talk to someone directly part of the company soon. I am waiting for the response of Andries who discussed oppurtunities to talk to someone within 1Cellnet soon after all the recent upgrades have taken place. He has not contacted me yet, but I am looking forward to his ideas and responses on technical support issues the company may encounter.
Hope I have satisfied your thoughts about this company.
    Regards,
    ROmelus

  • Hi all,
I just had to write a short reply based on some of the silly remarks on here.
why don't people look before they leap? why do you scream "scam!" before you even look for more information regarding the company and its product.
first of all, there is nothing wrong with having a company registered in the US. are you trying to say that every company registered in the US is a scam? did you know that if u registered a company in the US you could be saving a HUGE amount in tax? note that I didn't say avoid tax because tax is not being avoided, just paying less of.
secondly, hmmm a pyramid scheme.. yes it certainly looks like a pyramid when u draw out the binary sponsorship structure. why don't you draw out the employment structure of the company you work for and tell me what it looks like?
anyway, it is definitely not a scam. using the 1cellnet system i can call almost anywhere in the world for a low
price of US$0.5 per 30 seconds, even if i use my mobile. actually the thing that annoys me, is that it costs more to call my aussie friends on their mobiles than my friends overseas. :P
other than that.. 1cellnet is the best investment choice i have ever made and i plan to tell all my friends about it.
the way i see it, everyone will eventually join 1cellnet, so you may as well join now and u may even get some money back from it.
gee, let me think.. i get to save money on calls, maybe get some money back.. sounds like a plan!
    regards,
    george.
  • I would suggest people have a look at the threads that have already discussed this (see my post for links 2 posts up).
Then they can make up their own minds instead of having to read reams of stuff which doesn't say anything much.
  • Luckily it's still quite easy to spot a scam just by the quality of the writing of those pushing it!
These contrived guest names aren't fooling anybody!
Don't worry, you'll get over it, and settle for more mundane yet ethical ways to make money.
