I have had a (very ) old PPI claim upheld and they have offered me a (derisory) Ј1,893 as a goodwill gesture. In thier letter they say as the claim is so old, no records blah, blah.

So i have sent them a copy of the loan agreement (again ) and these calculations

A question about : Overdraft PPI (OPP) A & L/ Santander

I have just had a successful claim for Overdraft PPI (called Overdraft Payment Protection) against Alliance & Leicester (Santander)
The whole claim took around 4 -5 Weeks.
The telephone no. for Santander is 08456006014 - option 1, option 4 then option 2.
My OPP was placed automatically on my account on my 24th Birthday !!?

Hi I need some help.

I took out a credit card with EGG a few years back. I noticed that I had CCP which I don't remember taking out. I claimed for miss selling to to the FOS and just under a year they decided not to up hold the claim as I had ticked the box on the application form. I asked for proof of this and was sent a screen shot of the application.

After 8 weeks experian write to reject my claim,but, go onto say they now have four test cases with FOS
Presumably using same idealised letter

The 8 week rule allows me to escalate my complaint to FOS

However,I wondered if anyone on this site had had a case heard yet by FOS

A question about : Reclaiming PPI from a canceled policy

9 years ago I became sick and claimed on my PPI to cover my loan with the Halifax. after 12 months I was declared disabled and unable to return to work. I tried to claim the disabled element of the insurance but was told I was unable to do this as I had already claimed for being sick. I cancelled my policy as it was useless to me
My loan fell into arrears and I spoke to litigation last month who told me to get in touch with the insurance as I may be entitled to a pay out as he thought that was wrong information.

A question about : ppi claim help

hello please could anyone advise me on how to find out what an old credit card account number was. I had a credit card which as paid off about 10 years ago and I know I paid ppi. I have tried to contact the card issuer to find out the information but because it is over 6 years old they wouldn't/couldn't help me, is there a way I can find out without having to go through any credit agencies to find this out as I would be worried if I did this it might effect my credit score? please
