Reclaim PPI & Other Insurance

A question about : Is a Critical Illness or Lifestyle Plant the same as PPI?

Hi everyone this is my 1st post. I've been inspired by many of you to consider challenging the validity of a policy I took out in 2003. It was an Allied Dunbar Critical Illness Plan now Zurich Lifestyle Plan. I honestly don't know how I got talked into paying this plan for 10 years, much of which I was self employed for. I'm wondering if this policy would be the the same as PPI?

Any help would be much appreciated by this newbie.

It is an old loan dating back to July '99. I had kept the original loan agreement document. Maybe this helped, I don't know.

Very happy it was upheld as I remember the phone conversation very clearly. No insurance - no loan.

So, don't be put off with old loans - you never know!

In a recent sort out to shred old paperwork I came across documents from a car I bought in 2007. The car was bought from a garage and the finance arranged through them with GE Money. GE Money later became part of Santander and when the paperwork changed over it becomes apparent there had been loan insurance which I was unaware of.

A question about : Reclaiming PPI for Motorbike Purchase

Hi all,

I'm a little stuck as to where to go next with my PPI claim.

I've complained to the bank (Black Horse) and I've complained to the company that sold me the bike (Lloyd Cooper Motorcycles).

Black Horse told me as they didn't sell me the finance, they're not liable and I need to talk to Lloyd Cooper Motorcycles.

A question about : Slightly Confused on this insurance reclaim

So after seeing martin on TV this morning i decided to look into this.

I started paying Ј2 a month back in aug 2007, a few months later this was increased to Ј10 and a year after that to Ј17 which i still pay now.....

if i was to try and claim this back (i took it out originally because it was the only way to get an overdraft) do i need to print every months statement from 2007 (thats a big old letter and a lot to post)???

Capital one - I claimed ppi and charges from a credit card I had. They have now replied with a copy of my statements and a quote saying I was sold ppi through a telephone conversation. What do I reply next?

Welcome finance - claimed ppi and charges also but they replied saying they are protected and not entitled to anything

I had a 'Select Gold' account this was for my atm card from lloydstsb I was paying Ј12 a month for approx 7 years can I claim on that as I know it was miss sold to me

2 I did have a load out approx. Ј1500 and I have payed that off and I did my own ppi and got back Ј1100 myself

3 when I took out the load they done me a new atm card which was the select gold account that I had to pay Ј12 every month
