A question about : reclaiming PPI

Hello,

I think I have a claim for mis sold PPI by Lloyds, i was told i needed PPI in case of unemployment but as i was only working 13.5 hours per week, i wouldn't have qualified for it. I tried to take out a new loan agreement (without PPI) but Lloyds refused.

My query is: the branch that sold me the loan with PPI was not the branch that my account is based at, where should i send my letter, should i write to my branch or to the branch that sold me the PPI???

Can anyone help / advise??

I decide whether to uphold or reject PPI claims. Obviously I won't reveal more than that. I've lurked around this forum for a while, mostly out of curiosity.

I've been doing PPI for a fair while. I cannot recall a single case where a Claims Management Company has made any difference to the outcome. . I've done hundreds of cases. We have our own investigation process which we follow. We consider all the possible reasons that we might uphold a complaint.

A question about : Ppi refund

I started a ppi claim about 18 months with one of the large ppi company's. They took all my details checked my accounts with the banks and they are came back with nothing being owed. They said they could challenge the decision made by the banks but as I was only chancing my hand I didn't so it worth while wasting more of my or their time. We parted ways and I haven't heard anything from them since.

A week ago I got a letter from My bank telling me they had reviewed my case and had changed their mind that they did in fact owe me a refund.

A question about : Mis-sold Investments?

I heard yesterday that mis-sold investments is going to be the 'next PPI', in fact bigger than PPI according to the report I read.

Does anyone have any evidence to back this up or is it a load of rubbish?

A question about : PPI from 1987 onwards

Can anyone advise, please, if I can put a PPI claim in against a company loan for a sole trader that was taken out in 1987? I was told by the bank involved that I had to take PPI, but also had to have a guarantor for the loan.

Hi, please can anyone help.

I am trying to claim PPI for my Egg Credit Card which is now been sold to Barclaycard. To cut a long story short, Barclaycard are saying they have no record of my account so cannot uphold my claim. I gave them the card number, but i cannot remember when i first got the card, it was around 1992 - 2000. Because it was so long ago, the details are not on my credit file and i have no paperwork. What can i do to find out when i took the card out ? Thank you

A question about : PPI payment due.

Ive been told that im due to get a payout on my claim (good news) i am then told that i have to pay vat on my ammount then the PPI claim firm take 30% of the remaining figure! is this usual? seems a lot to me and i have to pay the vat before they take there 30% Ј8890 paid and i walk away with Ј5000 roughly.Anyone else had this happen? many thanks,Gary.
