Council tax rebanded after I left property

A question about : Council tax rebanded after I left property

I lived at a property from 2007-2014, I appealed the D banding and gave examples of other properties that were B and bigger.

I got fobbed off twice and told it was banded correctly

I left the property in September and told the landlord it was overvalued but they wouldn't change it.

He has managed to get it changed to B and the effective date of alteration is down as April 1993

They say I can't have a refund as I'm no longer living at the property

Reclaim Care Home Costs for Free- New MSE guide

A question about : Reclaim Care Home Costs for Free- New MSE guide

Hi all,

We've put together the first incarnation of a guide to reclaiming wrongly paid care home costs. Since 2004, the NHS should have paid for all care where the 'primary need' was a health need.

The DEADLINE for these reclaims is 30 September 2012 - so we have put together a guide to help people claim by themselves for free. Please read and let us know any questions, feedback, potential errors and hopefully success stories. Thanks!

Council Tax Valuation Tribunal

A question about : Council Tax Valuation Tribunal

Hi All

BEWARE MONSTER POST

I'm looking for support from anyone who has been through a Tribunal and/or anyone with experience looking into evidence supplied to support a request to change a tax band. The reason I ask if i'm biting off too much is essentially i'm questioning the banding of approximately 100 flats by challenging the VOA's position on my own.....
