A question about : Front loaded insurance

If a 5 yr loan is front loaded, but settled in full around a year later, how much of the insurance is likely to have been paid in that time?

(The amount paid back in the first year exceeds to total PPI payable).

Morning Money-savers,

Having had success with Barclays, I came across a (very) old loan with Consumer Loans Company in Solihull...who are now insolvent apparently.

Can I contact the administrators or are there any other options available to me?

I've tried a search but came up with nothing, but feel free to re-direct me if there is a thread running.

A question about : Clydesdale Bank

E-mailed Clydesdale Bank about mis sold PPI in September 2014.
Received a reply within a week with forms to fill in which I did. Received letters to say still looking into my PPI every 4 weeks since. Have phoned them several times and told they have a large backlog and they will tell me at the end of February when my final response will be. What do I do now (nearly 20 weeks since my complaint)?

A question about : Tracing Old Car Loan Information

I had a car loan for 5000 pounds approx 16 years ago.
I don't have any details and cant remember who it was with.

Is there any way of tracing this to check if I had PPI on the loan.

A question about : Is there any way to find out old loan details?

I have some old loans I wish to check if I was mis-sold PPI on but I have since destroyed the paper work for them and they are not appearing on my credit eport as they are older than 6 years (not that the credit report lists any agreement or account numbers, so would probably be no use).

A question about : PPI

Had a phone call from this company (Elkador) and I normally do not get involved with them and I have also recently completed a claim direct with a bank, but unfortunally I did and spend about 30mins on phone.

The reason why I was interested as they said thet the govermant has forced the banks to set up a databse with a list of all customers who are due PPI, is this true, as I have not haerd of this?

Also when they do phone back, will be ending the converstaion quickly with them.
