A question about : Overdraft PPI (OPP) A & L/ Santander

I have just had a successful claim for Overdraft PPI (called Overdraft Payment Protection) against Alliance & Leicester (Santander)
The whole claim took around 4 -5 Weeks.
The telephone no. for Santander is 08456006014 - option 1, option 4 then option 2.
My OPP was placed automatically on my account on my 24th Birthday !!?
The payments (to cover a Ј500 authorised overdraft) were
Ј1.97 p.m till June 97, then Ј1.44p.m till July 05 then Ј3.60p.m thereafter. (Hopefully you can adjust your calculations to suit from these.)
They returned all premiums paid plus the 8% interest. Ј780+title=Jumping
The company they used for the policy was
Genworth Financial, Building 11, Chiswick Park 566, Chiswick High Road, London. W4 5XR. Tel 020 8380 3000.
I contacted the above also and registered a claim. They responded within two weeks stating that they had investigated and Santander would be replying to me as they 'sold' the policy.

    I was wondering did you contact santander first or the company that provided the policy.
    I have a overdraft with ppi that is still active,do you think that will make a difference,im not sure if it was added automatically,was more then 15 years ago now!
