Parking Tickets, Fines & Parking

A question about : Here I go again...

I last year with the help of board members had a successful POPLA appeal against Excel at the dreaded Peel Centre.

My wife has just recieved a speculative invoice from Parking Eye at Crown Point, Ashton.

From what I can see, nothing has changed since my appeal. Am I safe to reuse the same appeal letters or should they be tailored?

Are Parking Eye any worse than Excel or are they all as toothless as each other?

I recieved a parking charge notice so appealed against it as we did actually try to pay the parking fee when we parked the car, but the machine said paid free parking when we inserted the money.
The company have responded saying that we still have to pay the fine as there is a phone number on the terms and conditions which we should have called to report their was a problem.

Hi,

I've searched the forum but can't find help for my query;

I sent an original appeal to Park Direct within the 28 day appeal limit which they 'never received' - I only sent as first class so no proof.

I have now sent another which has fallen outside of the 28 days and they have not considered as its out of the time limit. Is there anything else I can do?

I am a relative newbie to this sub-form but apologies in advance if this has been covered before. But has anyone ever reported the DVLA to the ICO.

They are an independent body who upholds the information rights of the public and can take enforcement action. Their remit does cover the data protection act.

A question about : parking eye fine

Got parking eye fine 16/12/13 and wirh advise i ignored it. Today got a letter telling to pay by 6/3/15 or they may send bayliffs round which then will cost extra 75 court costs n 275 for the heavies and thats on top of the 215 that they want now. What do i do ???

I wonder if anyone can help me. I received a 'letter before county court claim' about 2 weeks ago from a company called Parking Eye and is the first notification I've had. They are claiming that I committed a parking infraction in October 2014. There were no prior letters (we have checked everywhere) therefore, I don't know what the offence/infraction was.

I got a PCN from UKPC at Park Royal Leisure Centre London because 'Vehicle Owner/driver left site. Do the wardens take photos of people or do they check their CCTV

I checked the UKPC website and their 'evidence' and its only a picture of my car. Is that all the evidence they have? surely that's not sufficient? Will follow the steps given on the newbies section.
