A question about : Advice please, G24 parking ticket

Please can someone give me some advice?
I received a PCN from G24 dated 9th January. After reading the forums I decided to use Parking Ticket Appeals to appeal against it. I received a response on 15th confirming they'd received my request and on the 16th I received another email to telling me they had logged an online appeal with G24 and I would hear from them within 35 days to let me know if it had been accepted or rejected. The 35 days was up last week which is when I emailed Parking Ticket Appeals and found out they'd gone bust. I went on to the G24 website to see if I could find anything out but when I tried to log an appeal it told me I was out of time. Now I don't know if the appeal is actually in process or not and don't know what to do next.
Any advice would be most helpful.
Thanks in advance.

Best answers:

  • Firstly get your money your paid to PTAS back via Paypal.
Then you have two options :
    1. Contact G24 asking where your appeal result is.
    2. Ignore G24 and everything they and their equally vile 'debt collectors' send you.
If you decide on option 1 then you'll get a rejection letter with details on how to appeal to IAS. You could then use the Newbies thread to make an appeal. To be honest it won't succeed as IAS are a corrupt kangeroo court being paid by G24 and co.
If you take option 2 then you'll get some letters that progressively get more and more threaterning - you know, they'll come and steal your kids, kill your cat and moon at you through your letter box unless you pay their unlawful invoice.
KEY INFORMATION : G24 have never done court. Of course they may change their mind but given their MD, Adrian King, is as thick as two short planks and they employ single cell organisms on the phone who, when it is pointed out to them that G24 have never done court, respond with "I couldn't give a s**t mate", I doubt they'll ever work out how to use their felt tips to fill in a set of court papers.
If it were me I'd just ignore them - like I personally have three times so far.
  • Thanks for the advice. I'm inclined to go with option 2 since option 1 wouldn't get me anywhere, however, I keep being told not to pay but don't ignore which is exactly what option 2 is so a bit confusing. Will G24 really stop harassing me if I ignore them?
  • Will ignoring these debt collectors ruin my credit rating?
  • Thank you both again for the advice, I feel a whole lot better now
