A question about : reclaiming PPI

Hello,

I think I have a claim for mis sold PPI by Lloyds, i was told i needed PPI in case of unemployment but as i was only working 13.5 hours per week, i wouldn't have qualified for it. I tried to take out a new loan agreement (without PPI) but Lloyds refused.

My query is: the branch that sold me the loan with PPI was not the branch that my account is based at, where should i send my letter, should i write to my branch or to the branch that sold me the PPI???

Can anyone help / advise??

Many thanks

Best answers:

  • Send it to your local branch and they will forward it to the correct department that deals with PPI claims or send it to LloydsTSB head office.
  • thanks so much, i got a bit confused.....
Do you think its ok to submit a PPI claim when my claim for bank charges is still outstanding?
    Cheers!
  • yes because they are two separate things. Bank accounts were not missold to you but insurance on your loan was. That means that the terms on there meant you would have been ineligible for the cover. With bank charges, you were eligible.
