What did you decide to do?

We are having to make this decision soon and we do not have any family close by to help with day care.

For those that went back to work, what was the reason? There just wasn't enough money on one wage? You didn't want a gap in your career? Other reasons?

We just can't decide how to play this and we feel really nervous about leaving our precious bundle with a stranger at the nursery.

A question about : Washer dryer

Hey,
I was not sure where to post this and when I saw money saving mums I thought who better to ask.
It's terrible timing but three weeks before Christmas our washing machine has broken. Why it couldn't wait until the January sales I don't know. We would like to get a washer dryer as I have a six month old so getting the clothes dry in the winter is proving hard. I wanted to ask if anyone could recommend any brands or even knows of any good deals about at the moment?

Hi, I've recently become a granny for the first time (and have another one on the way due in March). I want to get a car seat and buggy to keep at our house but don't want to spend too much as they will only be used occasionally. I've no idea where to start - can anyone help?

A question about : Chistening invitation

Long time lurker asking a question.
My daughter has a baby boy that she's getting christened, I mentioned this to a friend of mine in convasation who said to tell her when It is and she'll get the day of work, thing is my daughter is paying for it all, arranging it all, and doing the invitations for the family and her friends.

A question about : 4yo sleeping in our bed

I think I have posted about this ages ago but couldn't find the old thread to add too, sorry.

Our daughter has just turned 4 (in the last couple of weeks) and she has been coming into our bed every night which obviously I want to put a stop to but I'm not sure how.
