Trying to get my head around the sizing of baby clothes (ready for bump due in January)!

From what I can tell, when a baby is born, 0-3 month clothes are actually too big. And there was me foolishly thinking the 0 part meant they would fit a newborn. I have now come across newborn and tiny baby clothes.

A question about : School shoes: where do you buy yours?

Hi all,

I am due our second baby any day now, my LG is 20 months so still in nappies. Our budget for food each month is Ј300, we have managed on this fine for 3 of us, but now we need to throw in to the equation a newborn who will be extra nappies and milk (BF is not an option) Milk will be Ј40pm for 5 tubs, plus nappies - up to Ј15pm depending on how many bump goes through.

A question about : 8 months to save before baby arrives

Hi,

I am a newbie to this forum but not necessarily to saving and trying to be good with money.

But, my husband and I have just found out we are expecting our first child, due mid November so I have around 8 months, or at least 8 pay packets left to get a little bumper fund as it were for when I am off of work.

I currently save Ј250 per month into an ISA of which I currently have Ј600 in total (Wedding last year emptied it completely!)

My OH had our second child 2 weeks ago (bouncing boy) and having pulled a back muscle 2 weeks before the arrival (leaving her bed bound) and a cesarean I wanted all to be happy and harmonious for her return home.

Cue my fathers intervention.....

He was top of the list to come and visit his new grandson but was busy supervising building work on the Saturday we invited him. As it took him days to respond we had already invited a close friend for the Sunday.

I have had a chesty cough for over two weeks and having used the Benylin chesty cough medicine for a couple of days without any improvement thought I'd see if there was a different product to try. There on the shelf in the local chemist was a Benylin mucousy cough medicine costing Ј5 which I bought.
