Name tags for clothing

I am looking for reasonably priced name tags to iron onto or sew onto clothing, that last through washing, any recommendations where I could buy them from?

• I got two lots from mynametags.com - they're really great! I was a bit wary of stick on labels, partly because I didn't know how well they'd last but also because it feels like you're 'supposed' to sew them on - that's what mums do at the end of the holidays! They have stayed stuck on perfectly on a variety of items - shoes, clothes, school bags etc - and the kids loved choosing their own designs. They are so much easier than sewing or ironing too!
• Dymo letratag label maker with iron on tape. It works marvels and is extremely cost effective if you have more than one child, a lot of clothes and have a number of school years left. Plus you can put it to other uses with the paper and plastic tapes. Initial outlay for tapes and machine will be around Ј32.

• Have only just come across your post and thought I would recommend Stikins name tags. They can be personalised to each child's name and you simply stick the name tag onto the washing label of the garment - no sewing or ironing involved!

• I used haldondistributionuk on eBay - think it was Ј2.99 for about 50 name tags that iron on. I've used em since September and they seem robust. I will definitely use them again
• My tip would be, invest in a decent laundry pen (under Ј5 from places like John Lewis). I handwrite all names directly onto the label - and is honestly one of my favourite inventions!
• I used a permanent sharpie marker on my son's school uniform (the labels) and that seems to be working well.
