A question about : Pensioner's Life Savings of Ј5122 Gone!

I have lost Ј5122 - all my life savings. I have worked 40 years and am fighting breast cancer - I just wanted to enjoy some time in retirement visiting my retired older brother in Spain. How could they be allowed to go on taking orders when they knew they could not be fulfilled? Please help us to get redress. Why should ordinary people always pay the price of deceit? Angelabw

Hi, Can anyone advise how i can get through customes in India with Ј20000 in my pocket. The bank has all my details and knows its all legit. I had a bad buying experience and this is whats left, less than i put in i might add. I know there is a $10000 limit without permission, so if i need to bring out more whos permission do i need??? A question about : Leftover currency coins

I have leftover currency from several different countries.

The notes I was able to change back to pounds, however they told me they did not change coins and I have a lot of coins left.

Does anyone know if it is possible to change coins?

A question about : South Korea

Hi everyone,

Sorry if this question is similar to other that have already been posted, but here goes...

My friend would like to transfer some money to me - she is in south Korea, and I am in Scotland. For various reasons, Western Union is out (she can't get hold of details needed, she has been a customer before), as is a direct bank transfer (her bank would have to phone her in the middle of the night for authentication).

A question about : Money Corp

I've been keeping an eye on exchange rates prior to travelling to Russia next week. A week or so ago on Martin's Travel Money Max.com site there was a company called Moneycorp. They no longer appear on the list, but they do seem to be in business. Their rate was one of the best for collection at Heathrow.

Can anyone tell me why they have disappeared?

A question about : Old Visa Problems USA

I applied for a US summer camp back in 2003, sent of the form, initial payment and proof I was at uni but did not continue with the application due to lack of funds.

This year I went to America and was held at immigration for over 2 hours. Apparently I have applied for a visa which was rejected (probably due to lack of information). This will happen to me every time unless I get it removed.

A question about : Buying InterRail pass

My son is going backpacking around Europe in May so I have included him on my Halifax Clarity Credit Card to save him money on transaction fees.

He needs to buy an InterRail pass and on the website they give two sets of prices, in EUR (376 euros) and GBP (Ј319). But 376 euros is more like Ј309 so obviously he would lose money buying in GBP. So would it be cheaper for him to pay in Euros? Would it be cheaper than Ј319?
