Hi, Can anyone advise how i can get through customes in India with Ј20000 in my pocket. The bank has all my details and knows its all legit. I had a bad buying experience and this is whats left, less than i put in i might add. I know there is a $10000 limit without permission, so if i need to bring out more whos permission do i need??? Help!

• Your main problem might be getting through the UK airport, as the 'wad' of money will show up on the xray scan - so maybe declare it while you are in the UK Airport.
  However I would be wary of declaring it on entry to India as it might put you in a vulnerable position, the customs officer might have 'friends' outside the airport if you know what i mean.
