A question about : Travel money in India

I am currently a student and am going to be travelling to India for 2 months, I am looking into how to get Indian Rupee's when I am abroad.

My debit card, a NatWest debit card, is a card from hell for use abroad. My NatWest credit card isn't as bad but still terrible for cash withdrawals.

As I am a student I am unable to get a Halifax clarity credit card which I think would be my first choice.

A question about : Abu Dhabi

Hi,

I am traveling to Abu Dhabi for 6 months and I want to know the best way to safe money during conversion from pound to dirhams. I have used prepaid cards before and I have a Halifax Reward credit card which may be quite good. Is there any better credit cards out there?

A question about : Transferring a large sum of money toCentral America

I am transferring a large amount of money to Central America as I am moving there. I have already transferred some through my bank Barclays and the rate is appalling. Is there any other way I can transfer my money that would get a good rate and be safe. I am a bit nerveous about not using a bank. Do any of the other companies who transfer money have guarentees and are regulated.

A question about : Getting Paid into American Bank Account; best way to transfer money to UK?

Hi there,

I've recently been been hired to write for a US based website. They offered to pay via Paypal, but I find their charges too high for the small amount I'll be earning an my (and their) ideal payment method is to pay me directly into a US bank account. As it happens, I'm in the States until the end of May and it shouldn't be a problem to open a bank account whilst I'm here (either that or I can use my SO's bank account).

A question about : cash on delivery

hi all. i wonder if someone can tell me if there are any currency companies that will supply currency as 'cash on delivery'? ie, i order my currency and it is delivered to my home and I pay for on a specific day? if there are, which ones, is this a sensible way to go, are there any surcharges/extras charged on top?

A question about : Best exchange rates from USD to GBP

Can someone please advise which organisation provides the best rates exchanging cash USD to GBP? I am based in the North East of England - so no London suggestions thanks. Could it be M&S or HSBC or similar? Any suggestions would be great.

A question about : Southend Airport

I don't live far from Southend Airport and have used Easyjet to go to Karkow, Jersey and Portugal for short breaks.

Thinking of booking for another short break destination perhaps in Spain but don't like the thought of high rise hotels etc but would like to be near a beach and not too far from the Airport.

Any suggestions on a nice place to visit would be gratefully received

Not sure if this is the right place...but I have turkish gold wedding coins and wondered is anyone knew where to sell them. After looking through this site I noticed it said in the do's and don't on selling gold, don't send coins?
