A question about : How long does it take for a cash withdrawal to show.

I have just had a mis-fire on an ATM but the amount I intended to take out has not yet shown on my online account. How long does it normally take? Didn't get the cash, but concerned it may have been debited.

A question about : Barclaycard Platinum

I applied online for a Barclaycard Platinum Purchase (14 months 0% purchase, 23 months 0% balance transfer), however it was referred. I received a letter stating they could only offer me the following deal - a Platinum card, with 7months 0% interest on purchases, 11months 0% balance transfer, and 29.8% APR, which is fare as my credit rating has quite a few searches on within the last few months due to moving banks etc.

Hello. My current situation is that I need cash for the purchase of a car (privately). I have two credit cards, one with Lloyds and the other with Capital One. If I borrow the cash on my Capital One card, and then do a balance transfer to Lloyds, with an 18 month respite period on interest, would Lloyds find that acceptable? It would give me a breathing space, but I'm not sure it would be permissible.

I made a Section 75 claim against Tesco which was rejected. I appealed to the Ombudsman and their adjudicator also rejected my claim.

I was advised that I could ask for this to be reviewed by an actual Ombudsman. I was given 14 days to ask for a review and supply any additional info, or to advise if I could not meet the 14 day deadline.

I've switched my account from TSB to Barclays. Today is my switch date and in a letter from Barclays, I was told that any remaining balance in my TSB current account would be transferred to my Barclays account by midday.

Hi all,

I've just got off the phone from Nationwide who told me my card has been used to attempt to buy Ј400 worth of goods online from Target.com, plus something called Sherman Oaks, AND they even got themselves some McDonalds with it.

I don't have to pay for any of it, and my cards been cancelled, but I'm now very concerned about how they got my details in the first place, and whether or not I should be concerned about my debit card details also being stolen.

A question about : Balance Transfer from a closed credit card account

Hi all
I have a Halifax Credit Card account which I elected to close a few years ago and retain the interest rate before there was a hike. My question is this - can I transfer the existing balance (or part of it) to a 0% card?
