Balance Transfer from a closed credit card account

A question about : Balance Transfer from a closed credit card account

Hi all
I have a Halifax Credit Card account which I elected to close a few years ago and retain the interest rate before there was a hike. My question is this - can I transfer the existing balance (or part of it) to a 0% card?
