A question about : csa payments!!!

so for the past 2 years I have been chasing the csa for payments from my ex, who doesn't want to pay a penny, he doesn't have anything to do with our son nor does he pay a penny towards his upkeep.

so 4 months ago they finally caught him and he's been through budgeting and has to pay Ј170 to me a month, he has paid csa but its going to take them another 10 days to get the payment to me! is this correct as it seems a bit odd how it takes 10 days for them to send me my money ???

my CSa goes straight into bank via CSa as we have no co tact with the father.
This has happened for approx 9 yrs
The amount has never changed. Do they yearly check what he's earning or is it down to me to enquire

A question about : CSA Reassessment self employed

Hi currently on CSA2 and have never had a reassessment.

The ex now says she wants more money and will be asking the CSA to reassess which I don't have a problem with as everything is amicable.

My question is do the CSA look at just the most recent HMRC figures or will they go back over the last 4 years of online self assessments.

With being self employed plumber every year is different, last 12 months not been too bad but from 2010 to 2013 income was dire due to recession.
