A question about : Child Benefit ended but Child Support still taken! (Started this thread again)

Hi Everyone
I will stick to the facts so that I don't get timed out on here yet again today!
I recently contacted the CSA to find out if Child Benefit was still being paid to the mum as my child has turned 18 and someone told me that the CSA can do this now, which I don't think was always the case was it?

Hi after some advice please. What are the rules about CSA if the child your paying CSA for gets pregnant. She is 17. Just want to know when liability ends, will it be when she is 20 or once she has baby. Many thanks

Hi, looking for some advice as the NRP's wife. Before I continue, I just want to make very clear that my husband has always paid child support and I am really not in any way trying to deprive the other parent of anything.

I hope you can advise on this, its like jeremy kyle but here goes.

My husband's ex has numerous kids by different fathers, there's 8 in total. Her two youngest kids are 19 and 16. My husband is on the 19 yearolds birth certificate as her father although, he is definitely not her father (he met the ex when she was 6 months pregnant). The 16 year old is supposed to be my husbands child, although the ex has said he isnt, but shes an idiot and we can only go on her word.

Child benefit has been confirmed as finished but csa says that to stop the payments may take 3mths.How is that allowed?Thought the payments would stop after going to Uni and things confirmed both sides...what can I do as ridiculous that il pay and child will be at Uni .Then il have the problem trying to get the money back through the csa .

Any ideas on how I can sort this out ?

I have only just learned of the new system, but as my ex is in arrears I think I will be one of the later ones to move over onto it.

My question is regarding change in pay. As it stands I have had to (snoop) to find out how much my ex is on and whether he is in receipt of extra allowances or bonus' and inform CSA myself. This is following me finding out about a Ј5000 taxable bonus he received in work 9 months later, only for CSA to tell me I should have told them within a month!!

A question about : Maintenance problem!

Hi guys, my first post but I have been browsing the forum and it seems very helpful so hopefully I can use some of your advice!

Me an my partner split up in March 2014, as of July 2014 I started a child maintenance case. As he was only working at McDonald's part time he was only earning Ј140 p/w, he paid Ј63 per month for 2 children.

I thought this was bad enough, until recently he used something against me and he is now paying Ј9.16 per week, yes you read that correctly, for 2 children!
