A question about : migration lost period increase?

Hi, I hope someone can help. we have a breakdown of accounts, it details 'Ј1029.04 increase migration lost period'

can anyone explain what this is please? I have googled, but have not found an answer. if it helps, he had one case used in the old system, then a new case started from 2003 onwards.they were both migrated to the new system, but surely they can't backdate to the start of the case from the old system?

I seperated from my childrens father 6yrs ago due to domestic abuse, his drug habit and his affairs.

The day I left him he swore I would not get a penny CSA and he has stuck true to his word! It took CSA over 2yrs to eventually get a deductions of earnings order (as he was working) and I actually started getting some money for around 8mths, he also owes us over Ј3600 in arrears. However he hated paying CSA so much he left his job and for the past two years has said he is living off his girlfriend.

Here's my circumstances.

Me and my partner have recently split up. My ex has a 4 year old daughter from a previous relationship. Although I'm not her daughters biological father and I've never had formal parental responsibilities, can she still take me to the CSA to make me pay child support?

I've offered to pay a voluntary contribution of Ј20 a month to her daughters trust find until she's 18, but my ex says this isn't good enough.

Two months ago I emailed CMO & they told me I could get maintenance from my self-employed ex, they've never managed before but have assured me that they have more powers than they used to.

Emailed CMO again & advised them I'd like to progress the case, they gave me a reference number to open a case with CMEC.

A question about : CSA What a Load of Rubbish

Hi All,

Well my case as been going on for over a year now.

Anyway everythink got worked out my babys dad got told how much he had to pay what happens he quits hes job for 3 weeks then goes back to work, i then again put in the assesment with the csa they take another 3 months to sort he out he quits work again for 3 weeks.

His Boss is letting him do this................

SO in all im getting no money and he as beat the system is there any action i can take whatsoever cuz this is so annoying.
