A question about : Plusnet unexplained broadband usage

Hi,

I want to find out whether anyone else has just had an unexplained massive hike in broadband usage recently?

I work every day and don't use the internet until I get home.
apparently yesterday while I was at work, router was on but computer was switched off, my home network used 6 Gb (!), and Plusnet have billed me for excess usage.
I tried to contact them but their lines had a 30 minute waiting time. I placed a ticket on their help system and so far, no response.

A question about : BT contract ending; want to stay with BT. Any recent haggling successes to report?

Hello,

I currently have unlimited high-speed Infinity fibre broadband and free evening and weekend calls. I don't have and don't want any TV packages.

My contract is ending in a couple of weeks and I'd like to save a bit of money but I've been completely satisfied with the service over the past three years, both with the speed (consistently good and fast) and service downtime (minimal). In particular BT's upload speed is much better than Virgin.

Just to share to any other Plusnet customers - I called up Plusnet and was just able to get the current plusnet deal on unlimited broadband for Ј2.50 p/m (which says for existing customers only), without any fight at all.

A question about : Sky

Can someone please tell me the Customer Service number for SKY as I want to get a better deal. I am paying Ј37.50 for that i am getting the variety package, landline included though don't use the landline and unlimited wi-fi which is slow.

Any useful tips would also be welcome.

Looking for the cheapest broadband only deal as I have currently paid for BT landline upfront and still tied to that contract. I was on Sky broadband only but the price has jumped up!

Any suggestions would be much appreciated!

A question about : Weekly email BT Fibre deal is a bit of a scam.

The option to pay for the line rental, on a yearly basis, has been removed, if it was ever there.

It would have been a superb deal, had I been able to save the Ј34.

The remaining BT offers aren't very tempting.
