A question about : BIG mistake! Take care ordering talktalk.

Following recommended link on MSE, I decided to switch from BT Infinity to talk. But talktalk didn't have fibre enabled in my area (BT does), but still let me proceed with the order.

They say they pointed this out - I cant remember seeing this.

If I had, I would NEVER have taken this backward step if I had seen this.

As I ordered online they are not allowing me to cancel without penalties (the MSE special deal was only via online order). Even though Broadband Service has not started.

A question about : New Build Internet Woes

We have been living in a new build property for 4 months and trying to get the Internet has been a nightmare as we can only get fibre optic in our area.

When we moved, none of the infrastructure for fibre optic had been set up.

After 3 months the fibre optic box and cable had been set up by BT Openreach. This was done by contacting the BT engineer who was in his van near our house.

A question about : BT Infinity Delay ... something smells fishy

In the first week of Jan I signed up to change ISP for a great BT Infinity package (rural so its a new service for us), scheduled for connection by the end of the month. Yay.

A question about : Which Broadband is the most Reliable and Fastest out of these 3 ISP's?

A question about : Virgin misselling 152Mb Broadband

Am wondering whether to call in m'learned friends. Was persuaded to upgrade to 152Mb Boradband in December. Internet experience instantly became worse - websites wouldn't load or took seconds to do so, constantly. After four or five calls was told that the 152Mb service had component faults that no one could say when a fix would be available. So, they downgraded (not sure what to).
