A question about : BT Infinity1 + TV Entertainment

Hi

Has anyone who is already an existing customer managed to sign up for BTs unlimited BT Infinity1 +TV for Ј12.50 a month?

I have tried to sign up for the offer using the link and been given a different price. So I called them - and was told it was an online only offer. So I went online and chatted to cust service. Who put me through to a chap on the phone - who then advised me to go online.

I renewed my contract with Talktalk on 2/2/15. I had sufficient funds in my Talktalk account to cover the cost of my new contract. I like to keep in credit so I have no possibility of Direct Debit overdrawn fees.

A question about : Another MAC code question

Are MAC codes required to transfer from BT Infinity to another Fibre to the curb provider?

• Sorry, I spoke to BT since posting and I now know that the answer is yes.
• But will the new supplier use the MAC code?
  I just went through an ADSL switch got charged a cessation fee of Ј30 because the new supplier does not use the MAC process.
  Quite curious what happens for FTTC.

A question about : Sky charging for taking payment by debit card

I am with sky having been forcibly migrated from BEUnlimited last year

I have just realised that they are charging me for taking my broadband payment by credit card when it is actually from my debit card.
I thought this practice (charging for debit card payment) had been outlawed.

Can anyone confirm this?

A question about : BT fibre deal cost not correct?

Followed the link from the MSE email, but the fibre deal shown is actually for standard broadband, the infinity is Ј12.50 per month not Ј10 as shown - anyone else had this issue?

It says in the deals on here negotiated by MSE - that the deals expire at midnight on the 19th Feb...

Does anyone know which way it's likely to go AFTER the 19th?

A question about : Any Way to Suspend your Broadband Contract?

We are going to be out of the country for a few months and I rather object to paying for a service I won't be here to use. I already have paid BT 12 months in advance last November for my telephone contract.

Can I suspend the broadband contract, or do I have to cancel it and restart it ?
