A question about : Changing Broadband Providers

I would like to change my broadband provider from AOL to another, but wonder if there is any way that I can still have any aol emails redirected to me.
For years I have been passing my email address to possible clients but there is no way that I can notify them of a change of email address as I dont know who half of them are.

Has anyone else experienced problems with receiving their promised vouchers form their recent promotion?

I was offered Ј50 in Amazon vouchers to stay with them in November, yet despite raising the question many times on their help and support pages and with their customer service dept they simply don't answer me and my vouchers have never been forthcoming.

Any advice on what i can do next?

A question about : Plusnet Fibre Installation

Hi,

I have requested to change over from standard to Fibre broadband. All been booked in.

I need know how it will work. The master socket is currently in attic which is number years old.

I am right in saying that will be replaced? Can they put in anywhere I asked them or it has to be in the same place?

If not can they do extensions for the router to be placed wherever we like?

A question about : house move switch?

I currently have line rental and broadband with EE and am out of minimum contract. I will be moving to a new area in a couple of months so it seems like a good time to switch. The new property has a phone line. Is it best to move with EE and then switch or terminate with EE and start afresh to find a good deal? Not sure if moving with EE would mean a new contract?

A question about : BT verses TalkTalk

I'm coming to the end of my TT broadband contract and I really want to leave because the speed is very slow, watching films is always a problem because of buffering etc...It's very frustrating

If I move to BT is it likely to improve or will I be jumping out of the frying pan into the fire with countless firms and people to inform about my new email address?

Fibre Optic is not an option in our area.

A question about : virgin media billing

Has anyone seen a significant increase recently ?I know there increases but in December my bill was Ј26.99 for up to 50mb broadband and phone. January it went up to Ј33 and I just checked and its now up to Ј38.

Ј12 is quite an increase within 2months

A question about : From AOL to...?

Having been with AOL since 2003, I am currently paying Ј20 pcm for ADSL, line rental and unlimited calls. But now, I am considering moving to fibre optic. The line test on plusnet said I can expect to receive upto 55 Mbps (compared to the current 5Mbps) in my area.

So do I give up on AOL loyalty and start afresh with someone else, or shift to their parent company TT?
