A question about : Allesley Hotel Wedding reception concerns

Hi,

We have been looking for wedding venues and wanted something a little different than the usual marquee.

We found the Allesley Hotel that seems to suit most of our needs. I am a bit concious that the hotel doesn't seem to be very busy day to day and the guy is doing a bit of a hard sell. I don't trust people doing the hard sell but really like the room.

What can I do to ensure I won't get surprised with any additional costs?

A question about : Wedding Veil

Hi Everyone

So this week I paid a deposit on my dream wedding dress! Very excited. However, in the bridal shop I was shocked at the cost of the veils!

Can anyone reccomend a good shop in the cheshire / manchester area? Or even a website?? I have been looking online but some seem too cheap - too good to be true!??

I'm ideally looking for a plain cathedral lengthy, possibly egded in satin to match my dress.

diamond has a GIA certificate

What do you think about the price? Good? Bad? Is this around the price I would expect to pay for the same spec if I visited Hatton Garden or the Birmingham Jewellery Quarter?

A question about : Gift for my Mum

I am reaaaally struggling for something to get for my Mum for a gift on our wedding day. I am going to get a bunch of flowers but want to get something special too as she's been so great. Already got a little something for my Dad.

Any ideas?? I would love something personalised or sentimental in some way but can't think what. Nothing cheesy.....
