A question about : Outdoorsy wedding venues in Yorkshire

I have been wedding planning for just over a week and already pulling my hair out.

I am looking for a outdoorsy type wedding venue - I am thinking barn, farm, that kind of thing. I want something a bit different - big wooden picnic tables, no chair covers... A bit rustic looking and something we can put our own stamp on.

We are based in East Yorks and I am really struggling to find something relatively close by.

A question about : Paying for Honeymoon with Airmiles

Hiya everyone and congratulations on your engagements yay!

I've been trying to save as much as possible on the honeymoon,

I wondered if anyone had paid for their honeymoon with their airmiles? I travel a lot with my job and I now have around 70,000 miles with Jet Airways,

and 70, 000 with the Star Alliance group.

Has anyone out there covered all their costs with airmiles? I'd love to know more, I'm so new to all this!

Hello, I am doing my wedding on a tight budget and thought I would share with others the deal I got today.

A question about : Wedding shoes/ trainers?

I never wear shoes with heels, except for very rare occasions I have to dress smartly, I basically live in trainers and have only just realised that I'm going to need something nice on the day and am trying to find a next mix between something comfy and something that won't look out of contrast with my dress.

A question about : Just having ceremony and reception... no sit down meal. Anyone done this?

After a long engagement, we have decided to bite the bullet and attempt to get married next year (probably between March and May).

We have to do this within a pretty small budget, so already looking to book it for a Friday in an attempt to get cheaper prices.

However, have any of you got married or been to weddings where the traditional sit down meal has been skipped?

Hi all,

I have a few queries to make and ask for your assistance.

I am trying to find a stately home, outdoor ceremony to host my wedding in the West Midlands area but I cannot find anything in my budget.

I would like to keep the cost down to Ј8-9000.
The date would be 27th August 2016 for about 150 people daytime and 500 evening.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Morning all,

I was wondering if anyone could help shed any light on the situation I am as it's really stressing me out.

My Fiance and I put down a deposit for a wedding venue less than 14 days ago. The deposit we put down was around 15%.

As per the contract we are required to put down a 25% non refundable deposit in order to confirm a booking.
