I got engaged a couple of days ago , unfortunately my ring is a little big, it got me thinking how common is it for this to happen.

I dont wear any rings so my OH had nothing to go on size wise, did yours fit?

A question about : Ideas for a Stag Do for a music lover

I'm trying to think of ideas that don't involve a stripper and all those horrible cliches for my best friend.

He likes real ale, music and playing music. I thought about going camping to somewhere we could have a campfire and take guitars but his brother thinks it's not massively inclusive.

Anyone got any ideas? We're ideally looking at doing something in the North West of England but I'm drawing a blank if I'm honest

Hi I live in the north west and I know that you can hire glasses from Sainsbury. I am looking to hire bowls and plates for my parents anniversary party which we are holding in my house? can anyone help?????

A question about : Liverpool Wedding

We are trying to get married on a budget. Looking to spend 1k-1.5k

We are going to get married in a registry office and then we have two options

1. Book a reception in hotel for example with a package price for meal, dj etc

Or

2. Book a table in a restaurant for a meal and then book a room somewhere and buffet dj etc

What would people recommend as the better option money wise?

A question about : Wedding Gift List

I'm overwhelmed by the amount of wedding gift list services there are. Which one did you use and was it any good? My cousin who is getting married in 3 months time has used the John Lewis one but the gifts on there look very expensive. I don't want my guests to feel pressured into buying an expensive gift.

Having said that I already have a house with everything I need in it. So do I need a wedding gift list? Are there any companies which do gift lists based on holidays? i.e. do Thomas Cook do one?

A question about : Wedding Ring

Starting to look at wedding rings. Bride is having platinum to match her engagement but groom not sure whether to go for White Gold or Palladium (Platinum is outside our budget).

18k White Gold appears to be the most valuable but Palladium seems to share most of the characteristics found in Platinum.

Why does Palladium appear to be cheaper than White Gold when it's supposedly similar to Platinum?

Will a Palladium ring be more hard-wearing than 18k White Gold for example? Also, will it shine longer over time?
