i learned myself to crochet from watching videos on u tube im currently half way thoeugh a blanket for my little gir

just wonderd if any of you crochet as i think its a skill thats sadly dying out u can make some wonderfull things and the main thing i like is you see results quickly as i get quite impaitent

Ok, I think some people on here make their own jewellery already?

I was thinking maybe we could start a thread - offering/sharing tips, advice etc?

I have been making jewellery for years now and sell in a couple of local shops and to friends. I also make things for pressies, so am happy to offer advice (not an expert by any means )

A question about : sewing machine help needed

I have just treated myself to a sewing machine

Spotted it in a charity shop for Ј30 it's a toyota classic, no idea if that is a good price but I am happy as the money went to a good cause and I have always wanted to learn how to use one.

I have set myself a goal of wanting to learn 'bottle slumping' BUT unfortunately, can't find any listed courses on the internet. Does anyone know of anyone or has anyone in Hampshire been on one that can recommend somewhere.

A question about : Any recommendations for business logo design?

Hi all,

I am planning on starting a craft business and wondered if anyone has any recommendations of somewhere I can get a logo designed cheaply? I like the ones that sort of look like they are handdrawn if that makes sense! I've looked on Etsy but there are just hundreds and hundreds of different ones!

A question about : stash busting

Ok now I'm sure I cannot be the only crafter to be drowning in mountains of crafty goodies am I?

I have piles of paper, cards, embellishments, beads, fabrics (in fact you name it ive probably got it!!) everywhere. No room is sacred in my house my craft stash is in pretty much every room including the loft and the sheds (and I even have my own craft room which is full to bursting with all the pretty things that I just can't bear to use xx
