A question about : BT Privacy with Caller Display Free for 12 months

If this is free for 12 months why am I now being charged for it?

For the last two months I have been charged Ј1.75 despite being assured both months that this was a mistake and I should not have been charged. How can you get to speak to someone sensible at BT?

Is there any way to contact the billing department in the UK? Or someone who can actually do something?

A question about : big TV woes

Hi all

Long story short.

Brought a TV from a electronics company.
Company agreed to accept return of product so I sent product back with p4d.
I took out their insurance cover.
Selling company refused delivery and I received TV back.
TV packaging utterly destroyed and TV has suffered some minor damage.
In short company perhaps quite rightly won't accept TV back. P4d are saying that damage isn't covered for a 55 TV even though I purchased an additional Ј500 worth of insurance.

A question about : Virgin media cancellation

Hi everyone,

I just signed up for Virgin media big kahuna bundle with TV and Sport, I had to add on HD channels for the sport, so not as good a deal as I was hoping. It was installed this weekend but I haven't signed the paper contract yet.

The broadband is really good but I am really unhappy with the TV on offer (no Sky atlantic!!), I also find the user interface really terrible compared to sky.

A question about : 18185 etc. Which line rental providers?

I'm soon to start my annual Phone & BB negotiations, currently with Sky for line rental & BB with my year ending in 3 weeks.

I used to use 18185 with BT, but Sky gave me a years free line rental which was too good to refuse so I now mess with the 0808 18185 access number.

I did have a look through the threads but I couldn't see any like this, so here is my question:

Has anyone else been able to leave SKY, and join TALK TALK and transfer their existing line. Credit where it is due, Talk Talk have made it clear that they cannot use my existing number and so I won't be entitled to the Voucher, but I want to know WHY?

Everything I have read is perfectly clear that SKY piggybacks from BT and that it COULD be transferred.

A question about : Am i being taken for a ride?

I am with Virgin and feel that they are taking me for a ride. I pay my line rental up front and get a loyalty dicount of Ј4. It now costs me Ј24.79 for-

Broadband 30mg
Phone unlimited

A total of Ј36.87 with the l rental then in a couple of months an Extra Ј4 loyalty advice would be most welcome. Thanks

I'm wondering if anyone knows if you can use 18185 with line rental from Talk Talk? I'm an avid user of 18185- it has saved me a small fortune but the Talk Talk offer seems good. I wouldn't touch Tiscali with a barge pole after my mother had untold hassle after some intermidiary signed her up fraudulently online.
