A question about : talktalk deal

Elderly parents have signed up for recent tv plus deal with talk talk.
They're saving better monthly then their now previous supplier.
however my father said in their email confirmation & the advert stated Ј100 shopping voucher to new customers & signed up online who don't require new telephone line or number, as they already had a line & number and email confirmation of keeping number.

A question about : Mis-sold package by Talktalk?

Some time ago Talktalk called me regarding my phone/broadband package. I just had the standard phone/broadband and at the time I had pre-paid my line rental (which has now run out and I am paying monthly full price). They offered me the basic TV package for free and said it was basically the same as I was on at the time and the same price but I would get free TV and be signing up to a contract. I was happy with Talktalk and wasn't planning on changing so signed up, even though I wasn't fussed about TV.

Hi, I am having serious issues with BT.

I moved into a new build house in November and placed an order for BT phone line on the day I moved in. 10/11/2014. I did this as I work from home several days a week and needed broadband asap.

After multiple delays and several days off worked booked for failed engineer appointments or no shows, my phone line was finally installed and activated on 19/01/2015. Over 2 months after initial order.

A question about : Leaving BT before the end of a line saver year

Firstly, sorry to ask this here, rather than researching myself, but trying to use BT's help pages is worse than wading through treacle, and someone may have gone through the process and have a definitive answer.

If you have paid a year through BT's line saver, and have some months to run, can you switch without penalty and get a refund?

A question about : Streaming Apps

Does anyone know, for certain, whether the Show Box App is legal to use in the UK?

I've looked on Google but can only find people's opinions, most of which seem to be that it is OK to watch but not to download, keep, share etc.

The thing is, my friend showed me the app on her phone today. I wish you could pay a subscription as the films and shows on offer were much more to my taste than Sky Go and Netflix, both of which I pay for currently. But I don't want to start using it if it's illegal.

A question about : Broadband, Landline and mobile bundle with no TV?

Despite all the advice that bundling saves money, I can't find anybody offering a bundle that doesn't include TV. I want what the title says and no more!

I'm paying too much for my BT broadband and phone package (I need to retain a landline), and I want an iPhone so I could cancel my Vodafone contract and bundle mobile and landline/broadband with a new provider if it saves money, but everybody's trying to ram TV down my neck.

Any suggestions? Thanks!
