A question about : How long should it take to get paid?

Hi there

We recently lost our caravan due to fire which started in a neighbouring motorhome. We have made a claim through our own insurance company (E&L) and an amount has been agreed. I signed the relevant paperwork and they have acknowledged receipt and told me they will transfer the money by BACS ASAP.

That was 3 weeks ago, and a dozen phone calls later I am getting nowhere - I just get told they will do it when they get round to it!

A question about : Travel insurance

Had a claim refused by oinc.com - global response.

My LON - BKK flight had a change of planes in Bahrain. This flight was made as 1 booking, not 2 seperate bookings.

The BAH - BKK flight was delayed by over 12 hours. Insurance are saying as my 1st international flight didn't have a delayed departure they aren't going to pay. Doesn't matter that it was a delayed arrival.

Worth fighting, or chalk it up to experience?

• Hadn't heard of Together prior to seeing them on this site so I thought I would give it a go. Good customer service and competitive quote. Now just waiting on my voucher to be sent to me so all good so far. Would certainly recommend getting at least a quote from them to see what they can do.

Hi I bought a 1.9 Vauxhall Zafira on Finance March 2014 it had 76000 mile on it. We were told that it had a new timing belt put on and a full service. There was 3 month Warranty that the garage give us and we took the AA Five star Mechanical Breakdown cover out for 3 years.

Hi,

Just come home and found the wood flooring was bubbling.

Fast Forward 4 hours, floor is up and there's water all in the front room and hall way, not puddle like just a layer feels more like it's been slightly rained on than puddles. (thankfully)

There's no clear way of identifying where it is from as the floor seems wet in multiple areas.
