A question about : Travel insurance
Had a claim refused by oinc.com - global response.
My LON - BKK flight had a change of planes in Bahrain. This flight was made as 1 booking, not 2 seperate bookings.
The BAH - BKK flight was delayed by over 12 hours. Insurance are saying as my 1st international flight didn't have a delayed departure they aren't going to pay. Doesn't matter that it was a delayed arrival.
Worth fighting, or chalk it up to experience?
Thanks
Best answers:
- Its the normal terms that only first leg is covered for delay/ you missing it etc. Generally once you make the first flight its down to the airline to deal with issues with the connections etc
