A question about : New Build Home Problem

I bought a new build home in Oct 2012 and the builder transfered or created an account on my behalf and without my explicit consent to a certain energy provider.

That energy provider put me on a very expensive tariff, did not inform me of any of the arrangements and the first I heard was when I received the first huge bill. I complained and they were no help at all so in Jan 2013 I immediately switched provider.

Can I get some advice? please bare with me as this is a long tale as we're going back over 7 years.

A question about : Swapping to Sainsbury's energy

So doing the review on the energy club and Sainsbury's is by far the cheapest at the moment by roughly Ј400 or so.

At the moment I am on BG Fixed till Nov 2015 with a Ј60 exit fee.

BG have a new product fixed till Feb 2016 which is similar to Sainsbury's (since BG are selling it anyway) Its approx Ј10 more a year than am paying but no exit fee.

So if swap to the new fixed product with BG which normally happens straight away, would I then be free to leave to Sainsbury's with no exit fee.

Another thing, what happens if i get old bills from the previous owner, i don't have to pay these do i?
