A question about : High electricity bill... How?

Dear MSE'ers,
We recently moved into a new flat which has an economy 7 tariff.
We have dimplex panel heaters, which have a central control panel, and were told these are efficient, and have found the flat to be well insulated such that the heaters don't kick in that often.

So one month in, we've only had the heaters on for a few hours in the evening and again in the morning, and the hot water heats overnight.

I'm confused.

SP have announced a gas reduction from 20 Feb. I am on a fixed rate (Online Fixed Price Energy March 2015) which expires soon. They have emailed me to ask if I want to switch to a new fixed rate (Online Fixed Price Energy February 2016)

Will they be offering a new fixed rate after 20 Feb or does the offer above take the decrease in gas in to consideration.

A question about : Refund from Npower?

When I recently received my bill from NPower I was just over Ј100 in credit and have found that NPower have credited my bank account with this amount even though I didn't ask for it to be done. Is this normal, do energy companies automatically refund a customer's bank account if they're in credit?

A question about : Comparing for Commercial Premises

Anyone got any useful tips? We're being plagued by companies who appear to know when our current contract expires, but I'm very distrusting of cold call companies. Any good comparison sites or brokers out there for electricity only commercial premises?
