Hi,

I am trying to cancel my setanta sports package but am struggling to get through on their 0871 number. I've sent a couple emails requesting the cancellation and have given the 30 day notice period but haven't had it confirmed from Setanta. I also have cancelled my DD with my bank.

Hi we are looking at getting a new TV but most of what we will see will be on SD TV rather than HD. However we do want a TV that will be good enough for 5 years+ and so need to get a HD TV.

We were looking at 40inch but were a bit worried that when watching an SD program it would appear grainy at that size unless we were a long way back from it !!

Should I pay Ј65 to have an engineer come out or upgrade to SKY TV as it's free for an engineer to come out then?

A question about : TV though broadband?

I live in a flat with no external aerial.

I don't have Virgin Media in my area, a Sky dish in not allowed and BT TV requires an aerial to receive the Freeview channels.

Is there any way to receive TV channels (including Freeview) purely through a broadband connection?

A question about : Best TV option

I have just upgraded to a samsung 40 LED telly (bought used off eBay, the moneysaver way)...so I was wondering how I can get the most HD channels for the cheapest/free way. (I'm not being super scrimpy, I just don't watch enough TV to justify paying for a subscription...but when I do get a chance to watch some, it would be nice to have a few HD channels).

A question about : Change from Sky or Virgin to full streaming set up

Just wondering as I have been thinking about this for a while, currently have Sky full package apart from sports and also signed up to Netflix.

Has anyone ever tried just streaming all TV, signing up to all three services NOW TV, Netflix and Amazon would you actually miss out on any TV if you watched TV by streaming? Would this actually save you money on a full sky or virgin subscription?

A question about : Projector suggestions and advice

I want to get a projector for watching movies from my PC via NOWTV or Netflix etc.
I will be projecting onto a 60 inch screen which will pull down from our wall or cealing (sic?).
Where to position it? Is fixed to the cealing the best place, if so how would I connect to my PC without wires trailing? Or would it be best just sat on the coffee table which will be positoned about 10 feet away from the screen and about 6 feet away from the PC?
