A question about : Eligible for BT Sport on TV but activation not allowed due to broadband speed?

I'm a longstanding BT customer. We have unlimited broadband, TV YouView BT and phone line unltd weekend calls(if that makes any difference!)

I can get BT sport via the app on our tablet, great, works fine

Would like it on the TV, does not show on any channels and I couldn't find help in their forums

A question about : Cancelling Sky, possible discount?

Hi all, I've been a Sky customer for nearly a year now (bar a few months), and i'm currently paying Ј19.80 per month (it was originally Ј32.something per month, but I managed to get the discount for new customers for the first year, hence why i'm paying Ј19.80), i'm wondering if I haggled with them, would I be able to persuade them to keep it at Ј19.80 per month for another year? If not then I would have to leave as I doubt I would be able to afford the original price of Ј32.something per month.

A question about : New telly

Hi folks, am looking for a new telly and have spotted one I want to buy - now here's the rub! Taking into consideration I would like this very model and no other (unless I see another with as good a picture quality for the money) , should I buy it now at a reasonable price, or wait 'till The January Sales and hope I see the model I want at a Better Price?

A question about : Sky Sports 5

Not strictly moneysaving ...but has anyone else noticed that Sky are STILL showing the activate SS5 message on the other sports channels ,even tho' everyone with the Sports pack has been able to watch it without taking any action since launch? Are they hoping that people are that stupid??

A question about : Virgin Media ... Installation fee.

I have been a loyal VM customer for 6 years now.

We moved house recently and VM moved our services across at no charge, which was good of them.

The engineer who did this, said oh, you have a virgin cable ready to go as the previous owners had VM too. Great, but as we wanted the VM box in our room which didn't have the cable the guy kindly drilled holes etc and sorted some new cable out his van; job done.

A question about : Cancelling sky products

Hi all, currently have sky tv with hd pack, line rental and unlimited BB. going to cancel it all and see what discount they can offer, think im currently about Ј55 a month, which i don't feel is too horrific since the bb is actually quite good with being unlimited, just see so many deal for new customers at half price.
What sort of offers can i expect when i cancel(best to do over phone or web chat)?

I havent posted for a long time as I can usually find the information after some searching. Not this time though.

I understand that you do not need a TV license if you watch catch up only TV. Can anyone tell me what date this came into effect?
