A question about : Virgin big kahuna bundle

hi,

I currently have Virgin tv xl with 2 extra boxes and paying 53pounds per mth and have done for a few years. Looking to put landline and broadband on as a bundle. Was offered the Big kahuna bundle for 78pounds including line rental and free installation, (not sure if that included the 2 extra boxes - 10pounds per mth - assuming it is as she had my account open but need to check)

A question about : Sky pay Ј5.1BILLION for Premier Footie

This is insane. If this covers 4 years and Sky have around 11m UK subscribers then this means everyone is effectively paying well over Ј100 a year just to fund this. No wonder I currently have to pay nearly Ј60 a month for a Variety + Movies package with HD and Multiroom........

A question about : Chinese/Japanese channels on IPTV

I am interested in getting an IPTV box and want to know if anyone has experience of using IPTV box specifically to watch Chinese/Japanese streams.

There are plenty of IPTV boxes available in UK on ebay etc but they seem aimed at UK users and South Indians, ie. they advertise that they have the football and Indian/Arabic channels but don't mention if they have Japanese channels.

A question about : Broadchurch

I missed the first series of this and was wondering if I can pick it up on any of the free to view options rather than buying DVD?
I have basic sky, Apple and Now tv, had a quick look but could not find it anywhere. Only option I came accross was to pay for each episode from Sky box sets.

A question about : How comparable is BT TV to sky?

My parents are moving home within the next few months. It's only 2 miles down the road, but a bit more rural and are limited in options for TV and broadband, they can't get cable/virgin. So I'm trying to look at their options.
They currently have sky with 2 boxes, one sky plus and one standard, phone line and (horrendously slow) broadband. All of this they are paying a stupidly high amount each month IMO. They are not in a minimum contract period as far as I'm aware

A question about : how many HPMI/USB sockets ?

current CRT is set up with a pair of scarts and a few junction boxes for

sky, dvd, x box

with a new smart tv (using wifi for comuter), how many hdmi/usbs (difference is ? what for ?) do I need.

Some I have seen only seem to have 1 scart and one hdmi.

Dont want to buy something that is 'insufficient'

Just treated myself to a Roku streaming stick for Ј39 which seemed a bit of a bargain.

Any one else got one? Would you care to recommend any channels?
