A question about : Anything on Amazon prime worth watching?

Just signed up for the 30 day free trial for the free quick delivery which is really good but not worth the Ј79.99 on its own. I really want to find some decent entertainment to stream to make it worth while but cannot find anything I like that is free, I searched a couple of films but there was a rental charge for them. Does anyone think the content is any good and what have you streamed from there?

I found the same thing with Netflix uk... Rubbish!

A question about : Virgin Media

Just having a look at changing broadband for my parents and stumbled onto Virgin's website. Their Big Kahuna package looks quite good and I think it ticks all their boxes on what they watch on Sky.

My main concern would be using their TiVo box. Is it pretty straight forward? They've been with Sky forever so not sure how they would take to the change

A question about : New to Sky

Hi

This is probably a stupid question, but I have a million things to sort out before I move house next week so am seeking a helpful person to provide an answer/advice...

We are currently with Virgin (TV, broadband, phone) but there is no coverage where we're moving to. We're out of contract so no issue there. We are planning to go to sky for TV (which the current owners have) but also need broadband. Is it likely to be cheaper to get both from sky? I assume we will have to get a phoneline too?

Hello.. i'm russian and living in uk 5 years.. i'm not watching uk chanels at all.. i bought few years ago device with russian tv which is working with broadband.. do i need to pay for tv license if i using this device.. there is no english chanels at all and there are lots of chanels which are not live.. about one hour behind.. thanks for help

I have just discovered Sky remote record using my computer.

However when I view the programme guide on my computer channel 132 Alibi shows as Alibi HD and when I set up a recording it appears on my TV planner as 132 Alibi HD.

Never noticed a very small box with the region in it, solved

A question about : Clever way to buy TV with added after sales protection?

So I want to buy a new TV. I've done my research and chosen the model I want, but its only being sold through Curry's. Damn. Too many VERY bad after sales experiences with this company is stopping me from going ahead and buying. But I really, REALLY want that TV! My question, is there a smart way to buy it from Currys that would give me added protection?
