A question about : Slightly Confused on this insurance reclaim

So after seeing martin on TV this morning i decided to look into this.

I started paying Ј2 a month back in aug 2007, a few months later this was increased to Ј10 and a year after that to Ј17 which i still pay now.....

if i was to try and claim this back (i took it out originally because it was the only way to get an overdraft) do i need to print every months statement from 2007 (thats a big old letter and a lot to post)???

I have also noticed back in 2007 i was getting charges of Ј60 every few WEEKS for being over my overdraft. Did i miss the boat? was this some that could also be claimed back??

I used the Mobile phone insurance on my account, but nothing else. I didn't even know i had travel insurance or other protection.

Is it worth claiming if i used part of the insurance??

• It sounds like you are talking about a packaged bank account - you can certainly complain about it and ask for a refund, see the guide here:

  Banks won the "unfair charges" case in 2009, they will not refund historic charges, only current hardship
